Here is a typical turn-of-the-century kitchen with built in plywood cabinets.

The kitchen makeover provides not only exceptional beauty but also an inviting and extremely functional design. The cabinets were built with hardwood cherry in a mission design complimented with a cove crown and walnut dental molding. Cabinet height and depth is stepped to create persona as well as increased storage capacity for those hard-to-store items.

The homeowners selected to use a clear coat without stain to display the natural wood color. Cherry becomes darker naturally as it ages. A gray solid-surface counter top with an under mount, large tub, double sink enhances the cabinets and is easy to care for. A built in range top and oven were selected for design and ease of care.

The cabinet size and drawer size is not dictated by us - we allow the homeowner to assist in choosing this. This kitchen features a few nice deep drawers that work great for storing plastic containers and baking goods which don't stack so well. All drawers feature heavy duty slides; full extension slides and soft close are additional options available. The hardware is brushed stainless to compliment the stainless steel appliances chosen. We offer a very large selection of hardware for the homeowner to choose from.

Cabinet interiors may be natural birch, white melamine, or as an option can be the same wood as the exterior at the homeowners' discretion. All standard shelves are adjustable. We offer optional adjustable roll-out trays. Other optional accessories include items such as pull-out trash/recycle bin(s), bread drawer, spice trays, knife holders, and the list goes on.
